Officers

Catie Fanning

President

I was born and raised in STL and went to Cor Jesu Academy. Here at Rockhurst, I am studying Exercise Science as I plan to go into PT school. I have a huge passion for sports and exercise so one day I hope to work specifically with athletes at the HS level and eventually, the professional level. Until then I am going to love being Kappa Eta's President and make the most of this year with my favorite people in the world!

Sophie Ojile

Vice President I

Hi all! My name is Sophie Ojile and I am the current VP1 of the Kappa Eta chapter at Rockhurst University. I am currently studying English and Secondary Education and hope to one day be a high school English teacher. Over the past three years, it has been such a privilege to get to know and work with the women of Zeta Tau Alpha. Because of this, I am so thankful to have the chance to work as the VP1 and help the chapter grow in friendship, love, and sisterhood. My favorite part of working as VP1 is having the opportunity to instill leadership skills and offer leadership opportunities to other members of the chapter, specifically my Programing Committee. My favorite things to do in my free time include reading, writing, eating sushi, yoga, and hanging out with my friends and family. I have a true obsession with Target and find it impossible to leave the store without spending at least $50 (which is not ideal on a college budget).

Antionette Cangelosi

Vice President II

Hello! I am from Kansas City Missouri, studying Molecular Biology. My position as VP2 is going by so fast and enjoying the ride! So far planning Bid Day and educating the new members about ZTA has been so much fun and a lot of hard work. I am looking forward to seeing how the new members grow in ZTA and looking forward to an amazing year of 2017!

Maddie Thornhill

Vice President III

Hi everyone, I am a junior in the nursing program at Rockhurst! When I'm not in class or at the hospital for clinical, I like to spend my time with my sorority sisters (our favorite hangout spot is The Mixx on Main!) I am excited for this position because through recruitment I not only get to hang out with all my friends, but showcase how amazing ZTA is here at RU:) ZLAM!

Megan Farrington

Recording Secretary

I am a sophomore Nursing student from Topeka, Kansas! I love my position because I get to work closely with all of the members when taking attendance, and making sure everyone is up to date on all things Zeta! After graduation, I plan on staying in the Kansas City area. My dream job would be to work as a nurse in the Mom/Baby unit. I love playing with my puppy (his name is KC!). I enjoy procrastinating and drinking Dr. Pepper way more than I should. I take pride in being involved on campus and getting to know many different groups of people!

Annie Meyer

Treasurer

I attended Cor Jesu Academy in St. Louis. Here at Rockhurst, I am studying Biology and Spanish. My undergraduate education will prepare me for a future in medicine. I look forward to incorporating my passion for the Hispanic culture in my medical career. I am excited to be Kappa Eta's treasurer this year!

Mimi Huether

Historian

I am a sophomore nursing major here at Rockhurst University. I am originally from Saint Louis, Missouri. I hope to eventually become a nurse practitioner and work in pediatrics. I love social media and am so excited for my new position!

Natalie Wolfe

Panhellenic Delegate

My name is Natalie, and I am from Omaha, NE. I am a spanish major and seeking a pre-optometry track in hopes of going to Optometry school after graduation. What I love most about my position is that I get to represent ZTA with our values and goals in order to better Greek Life on campus in general. Along with being a student, I spend alot of my free time with my job as an educator at Lululemon Athletica. Some hobbies of mine include, dancing, yoga, listening to music, and anything outdoors!

Cassie Lamb

Risk Reduction and Education

I am a KC native from Lee's Summit, MO and a junior in the nursing program. After graduation I plan on moving away from KC to spread my roots (destination unknown yet), and go to grad school for CRNA or Nurse Practitioner License! In my free time, I love spending time on the lake, snowboarding, and spending time with my many bothers. I am passionate about my position because it has presented so many opportunities to me and given me so many great friendships that I found in ZTA!

Bridget Gray

Ritual Chair

Being involved is one of my favorite things! From holding the ZTA Ritual position, to being second in command at SAB, and studying civil engineering, I love interacting with people and challenging myself in every way. My favorite part of my position is being able to connect Kappa Eta with every other ZTA chapter through our rituals. I also love dogs and hot yoga.

Bailey Lemke

Academic Achievement

Hello there! I am originally from St. Louis and went to high school at Incarnate Word Academy. Right now I work as a CNA but I hope to achieve my dream job of becoming an oncology nurse after getting through nursing school! I am very excited for my new position because I am getting the opportunity to help my sisters better themselves academically.
